Generally a race on blacktop is done on foam tires, purple seems to go quite well with it. On carpeting, with foam tires, black in the front and purple on the back can be particularly effectual.

Getting yourself mentally prepared for an RC vehicle racing event can be truly vital. Showing up early for an event for example goes very far in showing your fellow players how seriously you take a race. That display of involvement can be hard for your players to recover from. You can show your technique off by indulging in a few warm-up games to kill time, and tie up loose ends before getting ready for the main event. Because each event happens on a fresh surface, you need to be able to practice on the very surface the event will happen on before you race for real.
